Gary Mauer recently starred as the Phantom in the touring production of The Phantom of the Opera.  Previously, he performed in the Broadway production of Phantom, singing the role of Raoul and covering the Phantom.  He played Enjolras in Les Mis�rables on Broadway and with the show�s national tour in the U.S. and Singapore.  He has performed the role of Gaylord Ravenal in the national tour of Show Boat, opposite his wife, Elizabeth Southard.  Mr. Mauer was also a featured soloist in the world tour of �The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber,� with Michael Crawford.  Regionally, Mr. Mauer�s credits include Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Frederick in The Pirates of Penzance, Anthony in Sweeney Todd, and Tony in West Side Story.  He has performed with such symphony orchestras as the Chicago Symphony (with Marvin Hamlisch), the Cleveland Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony, the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Phoenix Symphony, and the San Diego Symphony, among many others.  He is the tenor soloist in the popular BRAVO Broadway!
