Peter and The POPS Perform at Penn's Landing on Sunday!

After a hugely successful July 4th weekend performing for over a half million people on the Ben Franklin Parkway with Elton John and Patti LaBelle, the fabulous Peter Nero and the Philly Pops are primed and ready to do it all over again!  As part of the big     20th anniversary celebration of Penn.s Landing, Peter and The POPS take the stage at the waterfront on Sunday, July 24th beginning at 5PM for a free concert. 

Joining Peter and the Pops will be contemporary rhythm & blues vocalist, Vivian Green, a Philadelphia native whose sultry version of .Love for Sale. was featured in the Cole Porter bio-pic, .DeLovely..

Don.t miss your last chance to catch Peter Nero & the Philly Pops before their big 2006 Fall season opener at the Kimmel Center on October 26th with special guest, Melissa Manchester. 

Remember, this is a free concert on the Great Plaza located at the heart of Penn's Landing on the evening of Sunday, July 24.  Great fun for the entire family!
