Watch Peter Nero in Macy's Thanksgiving Parade! 11/19/03 Peter Nero Appears in the Macy�s Thanksgiving Day Parade! On the U.S. Postal Service Float �Spirit of America� With Ann Hampton Callaway Peter Nero, music director and conductor of The Philly Pops, will appear in Macy�s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, Thursday November 27th. Peter Nero will ride on the U.S. Postal Service float �Spirit of America�, a patriotic red, white and blue representation of all 50 States. Joining Maestro Nero is Ann Hampton Callaway, to perform I�ll be Home for Christmas, one of the many seasonal favorites on the newly released Holiday POPS! CD. �Playing� a red, white and blue piano, Peter Nero will be seen by the 2.3 million people that line the parade route through midtown Manhatten, and another 44 million people nationwide who tune in to watch the parade on NBC. The broadcast will begin at 9 a.m. EST and finish at Noon. �Being in the Macy�s Thanksgiving Day Parade is yet another wonderful way to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Peter Nero and the Philly Pops� this season,� said Maestro Nero. �I�m very happy to be part of this wonderful American tradition!�
