Philadelphia, Pa � October 9, 2012. �Encore Series, Inc., presenter of Peter Nero and the Philly Pops��today announced a Friday night special ticket discount for college students for its 2012/2013 Season.� On the day of every Friday performance, undergrad or graduate school students can purchase one ticket, in-person at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts box office between 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. for that evening�s 8:00 p.m. concert, for just $10.

"We developed this�special ticket discount program last season to ensure students can enjoy our concert series on Friday evenings," said Peter Nero, Artistic Director.� "POPS concerts are fun for audiences of all ages!"

This offer applies to the following performances:

��������� Holiday POPS!, December 7, 14, 2012;
��������� Mostly Gershwin featuring Marcus Roberts, February 8, 2013;

��������� Bond and Beyond, April 26, 2013; and
��������� Super POPS! Broadway, May 10, 2013.
