08/01/2013

THE PHILLY POPS REACHES ACROSS THE DELAWARE RIVER TO PARTNER WITH THE CAMDEN COUNTY REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AS THE ORCHESTRA CELEBRATES A NEW ERA WITH A NEW MAESTRO

PHILADELPHIA, PA (August 1, 2013) The Philly POPS is pleased to establish a new partnership with the Camden County Regional Chamber of Commerce (CCRCC). In joining this organization, which is a new gesture on the part of The POPS, the orchestra is reaching across the Delaware River to music lovers in South Jersey because of the great value The POPS has always felt about its Southern New Jersey base of supporters.

Frank Giordano, President & CEO of The Philly POPS and a Moorestown, NJ resident, is excited about this new partnership. He said, We know that South Jersey has always been important to The Philly POPS and we want to expand that relationship through our membership in the Chamber. As a proud resident of South Jersey, I have always had a commitment to the cultural offerings on both sides of the river, and I hope my neighbors will join me in these exhilarating times for The Philly POPS.

Art Campbell, CEO/President of the CCRCC, is equally delighted to add The Philly POPS to their continually growing membership base and said, The Philly POPS is loved worldwide, and we are flattered that they selected our Chamber for membership. We welcome the opportunity to help promote them to our members and to all of South Jersey. In fact, we are delighted to showcase The POPS with Frank Giordano as the guest speaker at our September 17th luncheon. Through the Chamber, members can become season ticket subscribers, buy discounted tickets for specific concerts and attend special Chamber nights like the one planned on Friday, October 11, the first concert of the new season entitled Viva Philadelphia!, conducted by The Philly POPS new music director, Michael Krajewski.

The CCRCC and the six local chambers of commerce offer over 130 events to businesses and their employees annually. In addition to business events, by having members like The Philly POPS, the Chamber can offer opportunities for cultural entertainment, sporting events, and events that are geared to families as well.

Season subscriptions and Holiday Pops tickets are currently for sale for all concerts of the 2013/2014 Philly POPS season. August 21 all single tickets will be available. Performances take place in Verizon Hall at The Kimmel Center of the Performing Arts at 300 S Broad St Philadelphia, PA 19102. Tickets may be purchased through http://www.phillypops.org or by phone at 215-893-1999.
