The Philly POPS Announce 2014 Festival Chorus Audition

Auditions for The Philly POPS Festival Chorus will be held on Tuesday, June 24 from 5PM to 8PM in Room 506 of the Merriam Building, 250 S Broad Street, at the University of the Arts. The Festival Chorus sings annually with The Philly Pops for their Christmas Spectacular concert series. This year, the performances will be:

December 5th at 8pm

December 6th at 3pm

December 7th at 3pm

December 10th at 8pm

December 13th at 3pm

December 14th at 3pm

December 17th at 8pm

December 19th at 3pm

December 20th at 3pm

Please note that The Philly POPS Festival Chorus is not compensated.

Audition Requirements: Please prepare a minimum of 16 measures of a song, any style. An accompanist will be provided. Minimal music reading skills are required. Sight singing will be a requirement for the audition. Please contact Pat Wells at 215-875-8004 to arrange an audition time.

Past members of the Festival Chorus do not need to audition. An invitation email will be sent out to previous participants. If you do not receive an invitation please contact The Philly POPS office to be added to the audition list.
