AUDITIONS FOR PHILLY POPS FESTIVAL CHORUS

12/15/2014Philadelphia, PA (December 15, 2014) � The Philly POPS Festival Chorus is holding auditions on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Merriam Building, 250 S. Broad Street, in Room 506. The POPS Festival Chorus is a volunteer chorus that performs with the Philly POPS in Verizon Hall. Auditions are being held to perform in the Epic Hollywood Soundtracks concert series taking place on Friday April 10, Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 13 under the direction of Michael Krajewski. Rehearsals for the concert will take place at St. Luke and the Epiphany Church.
Anyone wishing to audition should prepare 16 measures of a song in any style. Each singer should bring along sheet music for the accompanist. In addition, sight singing will be part of the audition. A basic level of music reading is required. Current members of the Philly Pops Festival Chorus need not audition.
