Long after the end of World War II, the music that floated through our nation in the early 1940's is viewed by many as the country's finest Pop moment. Wartime nostalgia - String of Pearls, Chattanooga Choo Choo, As Time Goes By - and the glorious performers of the USO who brought these wonderful songs to our servicemen - The Andrew Sisters, Rosemary Clooney, Peggy Lee-kept the hope alive on both sides of the Atlantic. Thanks to Hollywood and Tin Pan Alley, a seductive wartime dream world was created that grows more appealing as time marches on.

Guest vocalist Lynn Roberts has prevailed as one of the few stars to bridge the decades.  Her dedication and success have provided us with a legacy of an endless flow of wonderful music from the big band era to the present.
